Our lecture series is an engaging, two-day program set in a classroom environment. Presentations are geared for those who have an interest in the correct principles of breeding, raising, training, and competing of sporthorse atheletes for dressage, show jumping, or eventing. All levels of riders - amateurs and professionals - will benefit from these seminars.
Guest Speakers are also available for personal consultations during the cruise to discuss the specifics of your riding, training, and sporthorse breeding decisions. We encourage you to bring photos or dvds of your horses, and take advantage of this exclusive opportunity.

Private Consultations with Guest Speakers are available. We encourage you to take advantage of this unique opportunity to meet individually with them and discuss your riding, training and/or equine health questions. Please bring photos or dvds of your horse to help our professionals answer your questions. Appointments will be made during the cruise.

Designed specifically for horse breeders of any breed, or for those interested in learning more about breeding, seminar topics will be valuable to both stallion owners and managers, as well as mare owners.
Jos Mottershead and Kathy St. Martin
Horse breeders and educators Jos and Kathy are the driving force behind Equine-Reproduction.com LLC, created to offer courses on equine reproduction throughout the United States,Canada, and United Kingdom. Jos also spearheaded the renown EquineRepro Facebook Group that currently has over 63,000 members from around the world. The group includes veterinarians, equine researchers, and equine reproduction specialists. In 2023, Jos atteneded the International Symposium on Equine Reproduction in Brazil as an invited delegate, and shares the knowledge gained in his seminars. He is a past president of the Canadian Sport Horse Association and served on their Board of Directors for 5 years.
Kathy's background in Arabian breeding is the foundation of their successful warmblood breeding program at Avalon Equine, located in Oklahoma. The full service farm manages top warmblood and Thoroughbred stallions as well as oveseeing mare care, foaling, and raising young horses. Kathy's ability to anticpate a good "nick" with their mare/stallion crosses supports their goal to procuce an athletic, quality sporthorse with a temperament that professionals and amateurs can enjoy.
